Rang means colour.
The necklace is built from a row of white enamel frames. Each frame holds a cushion-cut tourmaline in pink, peach, yellow or green, outlined in small diamonds. Between the frames sit pointed panels of diamonds and white enamel. From them hang Zambian emerald discs, each finished with a small ruby bead.
At the front, the line opens into a pendant of diamond scrolls. It holds one more tourmaline, with emerald drops below it.
The earrings use the same parts: a green tourmaline in a white enamel frame, with emerald drops beneath.
The white enamel is the point. It gives every tourmaline a clean, light setting, so each colour reads on its own instead of against gold.
